Overall Program Requirements
While this program does not have any strenuous qualification requirements participants must attend a information session prior to being accepted.
In order to be accepted and maintain a Google Certificate scholarship students MUST:
- Be a high school junior or up to the age of 24.
- Have a high school diploma, or currently be enrolled in school.
- Remain WEEKLY ACTIVE in course participation. This includes following the assigned outline curriculum as much as possible.
- Be in weekly to monthly contact with program staff.
- Attend all required workshops and one-on-one sessions as assigned.

Google Career Certificates were designed and built by subject-matter experts and senior practitioners at Google from each of the job fields. Every certificate has been created to equip learners with theoretical and practical knowledge and real-life problem-solving skills to be successful in an entry-level job. Expert industry organizations and platforms – like the Project Management Institute (PMI) for project management, Tableau for data analytics, and Figma for UX design, to name a few – are consulted and collaborated on the learning material.

None! Whether your learners are completely new to the field or have had some exposure to it, they can enroll in and complete any of the Google Career Certificate programs.

The certificates are completely online and flexible to your life, so there’s no need to show up to a classroom in person. You can access your instructional videos, reading material, and assignments anytime and anywhere via the web or your mobile device.
